  1. Taj Mahal (Agra, India) -Taj Mahal is known as a symbol of love. Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of Taj Mahal took 22 years & was completed in 1653.
  2. Pyramid of Chichen Itza (Mexico) - El Castillo also known as the Temple of Kukulcan, is a Mesoamerican step-pyramid that dominates the center of the Chichen Itza archaeological site in the Mexican state of Yucatán. The pyramid consists of a series of square terraces with stairways up each of the four sides to the temple on top.
  3. Leaning Tower (Pisa, Italy) - The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a building in Pisa, Italy. It is a bell tower. It is famous because it is not vertical. The height of the tower is about 56 metres from the ground. Its weight is about 14,500 tonnes. It now leans at about 3.99 degrees.
  4. The Great Wall of China (China) - The Great Wall of China is an ancient wall in China. The wall is made of cement, rocks and powered dirt. It was built to protect the north of the empire of China from enemy attacks. It is the longest structure humans have ever built. It is about 21,196 kilometres long, 9.1 metres (30 feet) wide and 15 metres (50 feet) high.
  5. Eiffel Tower (Paris, France) - Eiffel Tower is a famous landmark in Paris. It was built between 1887 and 1889 for the Exposition Universelle. The tower is 324 metres tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building.
  6. Easter Island (Chile) - Easter Island is famous for its 887 huge statues called Moai, made by the early Rapa Nui people. Easter Island a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Much of the island is protected in the Rapa Nui National Park.
  7. Pyramids (Giza, Egypt) – The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one to remain largely intact.
