  1. Louis Mountbatten - Lord Mountbatten was a British statesman and naval officer. He was the last Viceroy of India and the first Governor-General of the independent India from it's independence in August 1947 until June 1948.
  2. C. Rajagopalachari - Chakravarti Rajagopalachari was an Indian lawyer, independence activist, politician, writer and statesman. Rajagopalachari was the last Governor-General of India. He served as Governor-General from 21th June 1948 to 26th January 1950.
  3. Dr. Rajendra Prasad - Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first President of the Republic of India. An Indian political leader, lawyer by training, Prasad joined the Indian National Congress during the Indian independence movement.
  4. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan - Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was an Indian philosopher and statesman who was the first Vice President of India (1952–1962) and the second President of India from 1962 to 1967. Since 1962, his birthday is celebrated in India as Teachers' Day on 5 September.
  5. Dr. Zakir Husain - He was the third President of independent India. Serving his term from May 13, 1967 to May 3, 1969. Dr Zakir Hussain was one of the biggest exponents of education in India and it was under his leadership that the National Muslim University was founded, today, the National Muslim University exists under the name of Jamia Milia Islamia.
  6. Varahagiri Venkata Giri - Varahagiri Venkata Giri commonly known as V. V. Giri, was the fourth President of the Republic of India from 24 August 1969 to 24 August 1974. Indian Government had honoured him with Bharat Ratna.
  7. Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed – Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed was the fifth President of India from 1974 to 1977. He was the president of India, when the Emergency(rule by decree) was proclaimed in 1975. He was the second Indian president to die in office.
  8. Neelam Sanjiva Reddy - Neelam Sanjiva Reddy was the sixth President of India, serving from 1977 to 1982. He held several key offices in independent India, as the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, a two-time Speaker of the Lok Sabha and a Union Minister before becoming the youngest-ever Indian president.
  9. Giani Zail Singh - Giani Zail Singh was the seventh President of India, serving from 1982 to 1987. Prior to his presidency, he was a politician with the Congress party and had held several ministerial posts in the Union Cabinet, including that of Home Minister. His presidency term was marked by Operation Blue Star, the assassination of Indira Gandhi and the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
  10. R. Venkataraman - Ramaswamy Venkataraman was the eighth President of India, serving from 1987 to 1992. Prior to his appointment as president he was an Indian independence activist Indian lawyer and politician who served as a Union minister.
  11. Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma – Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma was the ninth President of India, serving from 1992 to 1997. Prior to his presidency, Sharma had been the eighth Vice President of India, serving under R. Venkataraman.
  12. K. R. Narayanan - Kocheril Raman Narayanan was the tenth President of India. Narayanan was regarded as an independent and assertive President who set several precedents and enlarged the scope of the highest constitutional office. In the country's general election of 1998 became the first Indian President to vote when in office, setting another new precedent.
  13. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam - Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen (A. P. J.) Abdul Kalam was the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Widely referred to as the "People's President." A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, was a famous Indian aerospace engineer. He was a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.
  14. Pratibha Patil - Pratibha Devisingh Patil is an Indian politician who served as the 12th President of India from 2007 to 2012. She is the only woman to hold the office of president in India.
  15. Pranab Mukherjee - Pranab Mukherjee is the 13th and current President of India, in office since July 2012. Mukherjee has a political career spanning six decades, Mukherjee had occupied several ministerial portfolios in the Government of India. Prior to his election as President, Mukherjee was Union Finance Minister from 2009 to 2012.
  16. Ram Nath Kovind - Ram Nath Kovind is the 14th and current President of India, in office since 25 July 2017. Previously he had served as the Governor of Bihar from 2015 to 2017 and was a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006. Before entering politics, he was a lawyer for 16 years and practised in the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court until 1993.
  17. Rashtrapati Bhavan - Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official home of the President of India, located in New Delhi, India. It may refer to only the mansion that has the president's official residence, halls, guest rooms and offices. Mansion consists of four floors and 340 rooms, with a floor area of 200,000 square feet.
