1. Dawki Bridge, Meghalaya – Dawki bridge is an eye catching motorable suspension bridge that spans over the Dawki River. The bridge, an engineering feat was constructed by the British before India became independent, as the overland life-line between the provinces of East Bengal and Assam. The bridge, though old, is an impeccable standard of maintenance, adding to the general beauty of the picturesque border town of Dawki.

2. Ellis Bridge, Ahmedabad - Ellis Bridge is a century old heritage bridge situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It bridges the Western & Eastern parts of the city across the Sabarmati river. This bowstring arch truss bridge was the first bridge of Ahmedabad constructed in 1892. It was renamed as Swami Vivekananda Bridge in 1997.

3. Pamban Bridge, Rameswaram - Pamban Bridge is a railway bridge on the Palk Strait which connects the town of Rameswaram on Pamban Island to mainland India. Opened on 24 February 1914, it was India's first sea bridge, and was the longest sea bridge in India until the opening of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in 2010. The rail bridge is, for the most part, a conventional bridge resting on concrete piers, but has a double leaf bascule section midway, which can be raised to let ships and barges pass through.

4. Ponte De Linhares, Goa - Ponte de Linhares is a 3.2 km long causeway connecting Ribandar to the main city of Panjim in Goa. It runs along the flood plains of the Mandovi River and is surrounded by various salt pans. It was built in 1633-34 under the direction of the then Viceroy of Portuguese India, Miguel de Noronha, 4th Count of Linhares, after whom it is named. The bridge is often said to have been the longest in the world at 3.2 km when it was completed in 1634.

5. Shahi Bridge, Jaunpur - Shahi Bridge is a 16th-century bridge over river Gomti in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. Mughal Emperor Akbar ordered the construction of the Shahi Bridge, which was completed in the year 1568–69. The bridge is generally recognised as Jaunpur's most significant Mughal structure. The bridge was severely damaged in the 1934 Nepal–Bihar earthquake. Seven of its arches had to be rebuilt.

6. Jubilee Bridge, Kolkata - Jubilee Bridge is an important rail bridge over the Hooghly river between Naihati and Bandel in West Bengal. It connects the Garifa and Hooghly Ghat stations. Jubilee Bridge was opened on 16 February 1885 in the fiftieth or jubilee, year of the reign of Queen Victoria. Jubilee bridge served the people for 129 years, it was finally decommissioned from service on 17^th April 2016.

7. Kali River Bridge, Karwar - Kali River Bridge was constructed over the Kali river in the city of Karwar in Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka. It was built in 1986. The bridge connects the state of Karnataka with Goa by road.

8. Mahanadi River Bridge, Odisha - Mahanadi Bridge is connecting Kiakata and Boudh. This bridge over river Mahanadi. It is the second biggest bridge in Odisha. The work on this bridge was started on 22.04.1998 and completed on 31.12.2002. Length of this bridge is 1858.66 m.
