Farmer - A farmer is a
person engaged in agriculture, raising living organisms for food or
raw materials. A farmer might own the farmed land or might work as a
labourer on land owned by others. Farmers are the one's who provide
us with the food.
Mason – Mason constructs
the building or any other concrete structure with brick, stone such
as marble, granite, travertine, limestone etc.
Porter – A porter
(coolie) is a railway employee employed to assist passengers aboard
a passenger train or to handle their baggage.
Potter – Potter is a
craftsman who shapes pottery on a potters wheel and bakes them it a
kiln. Potters make different types of earthenware, stoneware and
porcelain.
Driver - Driver refers to
the person driving & controlling the operation and movement of a
motorised vehicle, such as a car, truck or bus. Driver is required
to hold a valid driving license. They also need to follow all the
traffic laws.
Barber – A barber is a
person whose occupation is mainly to cut, dress, groom, style and
shave men's and boys' hair. A barber's place of work is known as a
hair salon.
Tailor - A tailor is a
person whose job is to make clothes to fit people. A tailor might
make a new piece of clothing, or change an item so that it fits
better. They also mend (fix) clothes.
Milkman -
A milkman is a person who delivers milk in milk bottles or
cartons. They deliver the milk at home early in the morning
generally before the sun rise.
Nurse - A nurse is a person
who is trained to give care to people who are sick or injured.
Nurses work with doctors and other health care workers to make
patients well and to keep them fit and healthy.
Policeman - Policeman
is a public servant whose job it is to enforce laws, help
with emergencies, solve crimes, protect property & to maintain
law & order in the society. They work out of a police station.
Each area has its designated police station.
Watchman - Watchman
is a private person who is paid to protect & guard a residential
or commercial properties from various hazards such as robbery,
theft, unapproved access etc by utilising preventative measures.
Sweeper - A sweeper cleans
the streets, usually in an urban area. A street-sweeping person
would use a broom and shovel to clean off litter, animal waste and
filth that accumulated on streets.
